“I think CertBlaster is a great product, and I know my students will find it extremely helpful. I used it when I took A+ and Network+ Certifications years ago, and it was a fantastic help.”
Dr. Gene Frazier, DM/IST

“Without question, the most challenging aspect of CompTIA exams is the sheer amount of material contained within the objectives. It is a daunting task to make sure that every item and sub-item in each domain has been effectively mastered. The three aspects of CertBlaster’s preparation software that helps candidates overcome this challenge are contained within their equally large database of questions, the variety of questions and specificity of each question, along with explanations of correct answers that expand on why the correct answer is the right answer.”

Domain Percentage of Examination

Domain % of Examination
1.0 Network architecture 22%
2.0 Network Operations 20%
3.0 Network security 18%
4.0 Troubleshooting 24%
5.0 Industry standards, practices, and network theory 16%

Why should you care? Because it reveals the approximate number questions you will be facing on exam day. Knowing that the total number of questions on the exam will be up to 90 so let’s assume you get 90 questions, then Network Security will include about 16 questions, Network troubleshooting about 21 – 22 questions etc.

With CertBlaster you will be ready! Our practice tests will ensure you are ready for success at your Network+ exam. They include all question types you will face at the exam including the in-simulator Performance Based questions.

Why choose CertBlaster?

  • Because we have exceptionally comprehensive practice tests for Network+ with over 550 questions!

About the ITF+ credential

Often seen as the next logical step after A+ Certification, Network+ opens a lot more doors. Dell, HP, Ricoh, Sharp and Xerox among others recommend or require CompTIA Network+ for their networking technicians. If you ever want to join the Apple Consultants Network, you must be Network+ certified. Network+ is also recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense and many other top shelf organizations. Typical job titles for the Network+ certified engineer are: Network administrator, network technician, network installer and IT cable installer.

Good to know about CompTIA recertification

CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications will be valid for three years from the date the candidate is certified. After the three years renewal will be required although there are a few ways around this. Instead of recertifying you can earn CEUs and some other certifications, would you take them, can alleviate the need to recertify, for more on this, go to CompTIA. A huge exception to this policy are candidates who certified prior to January 1, 2011. If you did, you are certified for life!

About CompTIA IT Fundamentals
(ITF+) Certification

For the new entrant into the IT field, ITF+ is the logical first step before A+ Certification. This is more of an awareness of foundational IT knowledge than an actual technology-driven certification. If you are new to IT, this certification will make it a lot easier to succeed at the A+ exam. The A+ exam gets under-estimated, mostly by people not realizing that over two exams, it addresses over 1,200 knowledge points of fairly detailed technical information. That’s were ITF+ comes in: It makes it more digestible for the candidate new to the field. Alternatively, it is a valuable certification for anyone in technology sales that needs a better understanding of the field and technology products in general. lt allows the non-technical professional to be more articulate and confident in the presentation and discussion of any technology-driven solution.
